| Even though it was written in the 60's, (especially because it was written in the 60's), this is one of the best books ever for a first time brewer. It is well indexed, with a glossary, charts and a question and answer section. You will like this resource. |
Hilariously bad advice

| This was a standard textbook in its era, but it now reads very humorously. Don't use this to homebrew; use this book to learn how difficult it was to get good results in the days before homebrewing became such a popular hobby, when ingredients and equipment were hard to come by. |
