I’d like to make some beer at home, but not sure what the best beer kit out there is? I’d like something that will teahc me how to make stouts, ales, etc – any thoughts out there?

I want to start making beer but I don’t want to keep it my kitchen. I would prefer to make it in the garage, but can’t control the temperature there as well. How might that effect my beer making?

Ok, I want to brew my own beer, but I am a college student and only want to spend tops 130$ (USD) or so for kit and my first batch of beer. I have seen TONS of kits on TONS of sites, but I have no idea what is good for the money. I also really like dark beers so that would be great if you knew of a kit that included how to make a porter or something like that.

My husband and i have a wine kit , but i really wanted to make some beer. My husband as tried some home brewed beer from a friend of ours and said it has a skunky taste and doesn’t lke it. Does anyone know of a real good beer recipe of or a beer kit we could purchase

(please keep in mind we are canadian and would preferably like it to taste , none skunky ((not like Heineken yuk)) more of a molsen or kokanee taste if possible.
and by skunky i mean the way a Heineken smells.

Anyone have any good tips on how to filter home brewed beer? I just made some, and normally I filter the beer through a coffee filter. Does anyone have any better ideas?

I was thinking of brewing my own golden beverages, and was wondering if there is a really good product out there that someone has tried.

I have purchased a complete kit to brew and keg beer. I can’t seem to find real good info on how to do it. I expect the kit will include some form of instructions (it should be here Tuesday) but I’d like to read up on it today. I figured there has to be a god website someone knows about with complete information on this subject!!

I’m interested in becoming a home brewer. Is the cost of equipment and time spent brewing worth the cost savings in the long run?

I have never tried home brewing beer or anything else before what would be a good way to try it for the first time is it better to get a kit or to build your own system if so how would I go about doing that
